FAQs

  • You will need to fill out the Information Request Form (IRF) and return via email, and pay the $400 non-refundable deposit to hold a place on the “pick list.” At 6 weeks old, we temperament test the puppies and match the most compatible puppies with your IRF responses. I will contact you, in order of the pick list, with my top recommendations for you and their temperament test scores. After you have picked your puppy, you will make a separate, $400 payment on this site to hold that puppy, and finally the remaining balance is due at pickup.

It is important to understand that picks go in order of recieved IRF forms and paid deposit! If you are interested in a current or future litter, please fill out the IRF, and pay deposit if it is available, to hold your place! If you have other questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me asap!

  • The temperament test that we do is called the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test, or PAT. It can be found by searching on google. It is a series of situations that a tester puts each puppy into, and then record his/her initial reaction, so that we can understand the base temperament of each puppy. Scores like mostly 3’s are perfect for average family life, especially with first time owners, those young children, elderly, or special needs persons. 4’s mean this pup is a bit shy and will to better in families with older children who can understand to go slow at first; this pup will also need extra effort by you to continue new experiences daily. There are other numbers but these are the most common.

  • All our parent stock can be found under the “Get to know each of our dogs” tab. You can read about their personalities and see more pictures of them on our Instagram page.

  • All doodles have the ability to shed minimally-unnoticeably-not at all. Furnishings is the gene that is responsible for long hair growth throughout the whole body that needs to be groomed and clipped regularly, and thus alters the shedding of a regular dog. I test my dogs through a genetics lab called Paw Print Genetics; this particular lab reports on the strength of the furnishings gene. Lanie, Toby, and Oliver all have normal furnishings. A weakly furnished dog will shed more than a dog with the normally strong furnishings gene. I don’t guarantee my dogs won’t shed, however based on the DNA results of my furnished dogs, they should shed minimally, unnoticeably, or not at all.

  • Puppies are extremely susceptible to microscopic diseases and parasites like the dreaded parvo, giardia, kennel cough, and more. They are somewhat protected here by mother’s antibodies while nursing. You can come out to the farm by appointment only after their initial health check up and first set of shots at 6 weeks. It is extremely important that you wear clean clothes and shoes, and don’t stop by any dog parks, pounds, or other public places where there are known to be dogs ahead of the visit.

  • Yes, I will keep your puppy up to 12 weeks for an additional fee, however the full payment for the puppy plus training would need to be cleared by 10 weeks. I passionately believe in producing not only a healthy, beautiful puppy, but also a well behaved one. I am happy to keep your pup for additional training, socialization, confidence building, and stimulation. I have noticed a huge leap in progress in the puppies’ potty and crate training specifically between 8-10 weeks and would love to continue to work on this for busy families. Extended training would include:

    -continued crate and potty training

    -continued bite inhibition

-continued reinforcement with sitting calmly for treats & attention

    -basic commands

    -leash training

-social development and confidence building (which can help greatly reduce the risk of developing fearful aggression reactions in dogs). In these past few years with all that has happened, trainers have seen a massive uptick in fearful aggression cases, and this is usually a result of lack of socialization- which actually promotes confidence in pups and reduces fearful responses to new things. We have developed a great relationship with several small business owners out here who are happy to let us bring our pups out and about to experience new sights and smells, and we can do this for you.

  • I love knowing that my pups are happy, loved, and cared for, and because of increased gas, vet, and food prices I have unfortunately had to do what I said I would never do—— increase my prices. But because I can take the work out of advertising and answering so many questions for repeat families, I am happy to offer my pups at a lesser price . Please contact me to learn what the current rate will be!
